The book intends to analyze the human being evolution since the advent of writing until our current generation.The reaserch will narrate the comunication medias and the society's history. Besides, it questions the negative and marketing usage of press and how comunication was used throughout the years as an instrument of power and alienation.

The chapter that names this work exposes the inovations not only in comunication, but also in the culture. Through books from Manuel Castells and Jair Ferreira dos Santos it was possible to create concepts to explain our modern society. According to implications that the post modern culture provides through telematics, the concepts of borders; social distance; and control; that ended up resulting in transformations that were studied and discoursed in topics.
